Our Vision

RagaFlow is born from a deep love for Carnatic music and a belief that modern technology can help preserve, explore, and celebrate its richness.

Our vision is to build a bridge between the timeless traditions of Carnatic music and today's digital world. We aim to provide students, teachers, performers, researchers, and music enthusiasts with intuitive tools to discover, learn, and interact with the vast body of Carnatic music knowledge.

Whether you are beginning your musical journey or are a seasoned practitioner, we hope RagaFlow inspires deeper exploration, understanding, and joy in engaging with this art form.

• Interactive Quiz: Sharpen your raga recognition skills through our interactive raga identification quiz. Every quiz is automatically generated from the song catalog, making each attempt unique, engaging, and educational.

Team

RagaFlow was conceived and developed by Venkatraman Narayanan.

Venkat is an enthusiast and student of Carnatic music, based in the California Bay Area. Professionally, he holds a doctorate in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and was part of the team that built and deployed the first autonomous (driverless) trucks in the United States.

RagaFlow brings together his passions for music, technology, and learning, with the goal of creating meaningful tools for the Carnatic music community.
